    Detailed Product Description:

DH-2000 DUV with integrated filter holder and TTL control, 190-2500nm, 1000hrs

The DH-2000 light source offers stable, continuous output from 215-2500 nm. Using a combination of deuterium and halogen lamps, the DH-2000 is ideal for measuring a sample that has multiple features in different spectral regions or for analyzing a variety of different samples in your lab. All models of the DH-2000 family include easy-to-replace bulbs, keeping your measurements going with fast lamp changes.

All deuterium sources have an alpha line, a sharp spectral feature centered at 655 nm. This feature and other deuterium lines produce “unbalanced” output in the deuterium and halogen sources. Simply adjusting the integration time of the spectrometer to suppress the alpha line does not solve the problem as the efficiency of the system at UV wavelengths drops significantly, compromising signal-to-noise performance.

For those that need light into the deep UV, the DH-2000-FHS-DUV-TTL and DH-2000-S-DUV-TTL models include a special deep-UV deuterium lamp providing output from 190-2500 nm. Both models come with a shutter to limit the exposure of samples to UV light.

  • Innovative filtering - eliminates D-alpha line in deuterium source
  • Balanced output from 215-2500 nm - eliminates problems associated with saturation
  • Powerful and stable - deuterium (25 W) and halogen lamps (20 W) combined in a single light source
  • Integrated shutter - helps protect light-sensitive samples
  • Easy-to-replace, pre-aligned bulbs - minimal downtime needed for bulb replacement

DH-2000-BAL

The DH-2000-BAL uses innovative filtering technology to produces a smooth spectrum across the entire UV-NIR range. This technology also eliminates the alpha deuterium line in the visible region.

DH-MINI

Despite its compact size, the DH-mini produces strong output across the UV-Visible and near-IR from 200-2500 nm. Absorption and transmission measurements with opaque or optically dense samples benefit from the high intensity of the DH-mini.

The DH-mini is packed with features that make it easy to use. The tungsten and deuterium source bulbs can be turned on and off individually, limiting stray light in challenging measurements. An internal shutter can be opened and closed using simple buttons with LED indicators on the front panel. For automated processes or remote measurements, a TTL signal also can be used to control all functions.

The DH-mini has been designed with OEM integration in mind. Not only does it provide high power from a small footprint, it also makes integration a breeze with full remote control of all functions via a 4-pin TTL connector. Galvanic isolation of the TTL pulse provides reliable performance in complicated environments like an electrically noisy production floor.
